Applying

Applying and enrolling are two distinct processes. Applications are only required for those courses that have the application closing date under their course name. You need to enrol for all courses.

Applications for Semester One 2009

Open — Monday, 11 August

Close — Friday, 31 October

You will only need to fill out the TAFE NSW Course Application Form if you want to do a course that has the application closing date under the course name.

If you want to study an application course please read this section carefully.

Please note:

  • You should call your local campus for the latest information about course offerings, including information about local enrolment procedures.
  • To accept your offer for a course which required an application, go to e-Services and log on using the username and password provided in your offer letter.
  • There is a different process for courses delivered by OTEN. For more information contact OTEN.
  • If you are NOT an Australian citizen, permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen you need to check your eligibility to do a TAFE NSW course. You may be required to pay tuition fees and the TAFE NSW fee depending on your visa sub-class. Your local TAFE NSW campus can provide you with further information.
  • International students apply through a separate process. For more information contact the International Students Centre on (+ 61 2) 9217 4801 or 1300 302 456.

It is your responsibility to provide the information required to process your application. TAFE NSW is not responsible for obtaining information that you have not provided.

Have you...?

  • Checked that you meet the entry requirements for your course?
  • Checked with the campus(es) to which you are applying to see if they are offering the course(s), and if there are any local arrangements?
  • Addressed the selection criteria when filling out your application form?
  • Carefully checked your course application codes?
  • Filled out all relevant sections of the application form and signed and dated it?
  • Attached copies of requested qualifications or relevant documents to your application form?
  • Kept a copy of your completed application?
  • Noted that there is an Application Amendment Form? You may need to use it later. (Course preferences can only be changed up to Friday, 31 October.)
