The TAFE NSW Course Application Form is your means of applying – it helps TAFE NSW make sure everyone who wants to do an application course is considered in a fair and consistent way.
Applications for Semester One 2009
Open — Monday, 11 August
Close — Friday, 31 October
You will only need to fill out the TAFE NSW Course Application Form if you want to do a course that has the application closing date under the course name.
If you want to study an application course please read this section carefully.
You may only complete one form, and you can include up to four preferences for courses, campuses and attendance modes (each of your preferences will have its own application code).
- Include copies of all requested documentation.
- Make sure you refer to the selection criteria for each course when filling out the form.
- If you are applying for more than one course, and the courses are in different career areas, you will need to supply different answers to the questions in Parts C and D.
For example, if you are applying for an accounting course and a hairdressing course you will need to copy pages 2 and 3
first, so that you can provide different answers for both accounting and hairdressing. You will need to attach any relevant documents to the
relevant extra pages, and attach to your application form. You should make sure to put your name and the relevant career area on each
set of answers.
- A letter will be sent to tell you that your application has been received.
Application codes
Each combination of application course and location and attendance mode has a unique 'application code'. Up to date codes are available via the list of courses requiring application (click through to the location's course delivery details). You will need to list these codes on the TAFE NSW Course Application Form in order of your preference.
Attendance modes
The 'attendance mode' for a course describes the general pattern of attendance for learning and assessment. See Attendance modes.
Submitting a form
